Beverly’s Kitchen at Berrybrook will be open Monday, August 21st at 11 AM. Customers can expect a healthy and delicious menu reflecting our original concept that includes fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, salads and soups. The menu will eventually expand to breakfast and entree options created by Beverly's Gourmet Foods. Hours of operation are currently Monday-Saturday from 11-3PM, but hope we hope to extend those soon.
But WHY has the kitchen changed you ask??? Due to rising food costs and employment issues during the pandemic, we made the tough decision to close down. We were lucky to have ZiZi's Vegan To Go come in and help us run things for a few years bringing a delicious vegan street menu with him. Although that was well received, many of our customers wanted to see the original menu that they have known and loved for almost 30 years.
Fast forward to last month, when we approached our friend Beverly McLaughlin of Beverly's Gourmet Foods with the news that the kitchen would be closing for renovations and a new concept. We knew she was the one to help bring us back to our roots. For years our customers have enjoyed smoothies like the “East Blvd. Mudslide” or building their own fresh-pressed juices and stopping in for a quick lunch of soups and healthy sandwiches.
Beverly, Kitchen Manager Rachel and our team have worked very hard to make this turn around happen quickly. We are over-the-moon excited to bring back the original menu with some fun new twists.
